At Parchment, we have a beautiful reproduction of a poetry book originally published in the early 1900s, by Mary Starbuck. True confession, I am not a poetry girl! But these poems are ones that I can relate to, and are timeless to anyone who truly loves Nantucket. There is a copy of the original at the Atheneum... it is a gem and I encourage you to pause for a moment and take a look. Now that my feet are wet in the blogging world, I promise no more long silences from Parchment! Valentines are arriving daily, and we are working on some fabulous Save-the-dates for summer weddings.
